How can you help raise funds for the foundation?

Well, Queensland has finally organised a bottle and can recycling scheme. It is called ‘Containers for Change’ and every bottle or can returned for recycling will receive a 10c refund.

We all drink and throw away so many bottles and cans on a regular basis. So now, if you need to throw one away at Langports Brisbane, we will be collecting them and recycling them in exchange for a refund! There has been a collection station set up under the stairs outside on level 1. It is required (as per the picture) that the bottles are to have their lids removed and disposed of separately and that the cans are not to be crushed to be eligible for the refund.

The Foundation will then receive the full 10c per bottle or can.

If the trialing of this scheme in Brisbane is successful then we will roll this out at our other campuses.
